A man's been assaulted twice on the same night in Evesham - with police appealing for witnesses to either incident.

The victim, in his 30s, was struck with a glass, and suffered a cut to his eyebrow, outside the Valkyrie bar on Market Square between 6.00 and 7.00pm on March 2nd.

It's believed he was attacked by a woman in her 20s, who also punched and kicked him.

Then at around 8.30pm on the same evening, the same victim was approached from behind and dragged to the floor by a man in his 20s outside the Old Swanne Inne on the High Street.

He was punched and kicked several times, suffering significant bruising, sore ribs and a swollen black eye.

West Mercia Police want to hear from anyone with information about either incident.
