Arrest after bleach thrown over man in Kidderminster

A man has been arrested after another man had bleach thrown over him outside a bar in Kidderminster.

Police say the incident happened at around 3:20am on Sunday 7 December.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

"Around 3:20am a man was evicted from the Nu Bar on New Road.

"The man returned and threw a bottle of bleach over the victim and then scratched his face, neck and arm.

"The victim sustained injuries to his face and body but has since recovered."

A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and has since been released under investigation.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
