Lorry overturns in Marstow with fire service issuing warning about narrow roads

A lorry overturned in the Marstow area last night, resulting in emergency services attending the scene.

At 18:22, just before scheduled routine training, Ross on Wye Fire Station's crews were dispatched, joined by teams from Hereford and Monmouth Fire Stations.

The crews worked diligently to ensure the vehicle was safe for recovery while the lorry’s driver received treatment from the Ambulance Service at the site.

With rural roads often narrow and winding, authorities urge drivers to remain vigilant of road conditions, keep speeds suitable, and anticipate unforeseen hazards around bends.
