Witnesses sought after serious collision in Lickey leaves motorcyclist with life-changing injuries
Police appeal for information to identify the driver of abandoned Ford Fiesta
Authorities are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious collision that occurred in Lickey, resulting in life-changing injuries for a motorcyclist.
The incident took place at about 4:20pm on 17th July 2026, at the junction of Old Birmingham Road and Rose Hill.
The collision involved a Triumph motorcycle and a white Ford Fiesta, whose driver failed to stop at the scene.
The Ford Fiesta was later found abandoned on Monument Lane.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators are keen to identify who was driving the Ford Fiesta at the time of the collision.
They are appealing to anyone who may have seen the vehicle before or after the crash, or witnessed the collision to come forward.
In particular, they are interested in dashcam footage, CCTV, or doorbell camera footage from the areas of Twatling Road, Old Birmingham Road, Rose Hill, or Monument Lane around the time of the incident.
