Woman in her 80s seriously injured in crash with car in Leominster
Police are asking for witnesses to come forward
A woman in her 80s has suffered serious injuries after a car collided with her mobility scooter in Leominster.
The collision happened on Westfield Walk around 10.40am yesterday (16th December).
Police said the car hit the woman while it was leaving a parking bay.
A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of causing injury through careless driving and on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
They are also urging drivers in the area at the time to check any dashcam footage they may have.
