Kidderminster Pride 2026 cancelled due to funding issues
Organisers plan a smaller celebration instead
Kidderminster Pride will not take place this year due to challenges in securing sufficient funding and support.
The organisers announced the cancellation with regret, citing the significant costs associated with hosting the annual event, which in past years have been covered through local businesses, council funding, donations, and personal contributions from Ben, alongside The Cavalier's team.
Despite not being able to hold the event as initially planned, the team is looking to organise something smalle.
Expressing gratitude, the organisers on social media thanked everyone who has supported Kidderminster Pride, from volunteers to attendees, over the past few years.
They emphasised the commitment to continue celebrating Pride in some capacity.
The organisers shared their disappointment at not hosting the 2026 event but appreciated the community's ongoing support.
