Man charged with owning air weapon after being arrested in Hereford

A man has been charged with two separate offences involving weapons after being found with an air weapon in Hereford.
Cosmin Alexandru Pandia, from Hawthorn Grove in Hereford was charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of an air weapon in a public place.
The charges relate to an incident that officers were alerted to at the property on Sunday (June 1st), which resulted in the man being arrested.
He was apprehended and brought in for questioning, before being released on bail ahead of his first court hearing.
West Mercia Police gave no further detail surrounding what kind of "air weapon" the 36-year-old man was found with.
Pandia will appear before Hereford Magistrates' Court on June 26th, the force confirmed.
