Firefighters tackle blaze in Ledbury

People in Ledbury have been asked to keep windows and doors closed as firefighters tackle a blaze.

Crews were called to the scene in the Lower Road Trading Estate area last night.

Pictures shared online show huge plumes of smoke filling the air.

In a statement last night, fire crews said: "We are currently dealing with an ongoing incident in the Lower Road Trading Estate area.

"As a precaution, we are advising local residents to keep windows and doors closed and to avoid the area where possible. This is to ensure your safety while crews continue to manage the situation.

"Please do not call 999 for updates.

"Thank you for your cooperation and support."
