Fire crews tackle 'well-developed' blaze in Wormbridge
It happened at an industrial unit
Fire crews were called out yesterday evening (6 April) to a 'well developed' blaze at an industrial unit in Wormbridge.
It's understood nobody was injured in the incident, with the front side of the building 'quickly extinguished' when they arrived.
They added: "Upon arrival, the front side of the building was quickly extinguished by initial crews, allowing entry to be gained with the use of RTC cutting tools. Crews in BA proceeded to fight a large internal fire into the early hours of the morning.
"Assistance from Hereford, Peterchurch, Fownhope, Hereford ALP and Leominster Water Carrier.
"Initial crews were relieved by supporting pumps from Bromyard, Whitchurch, Eardisley and Ross.
"No persons harmed."
Fire crews this morning (7 April) said: "Red and the On-Call from Hereford were mobilised to a well developed fire, involving an industrial unit in Wormbridge.
"Supporting crews from Ewyas Harold, Peterchurch and Leominster.
"Relief crews were then brought in to take over the damping down phase this morning."
