Extra police patrols in Stourport after incident at caravan site
Officers were called to the Watery Lane caravan site at around 12pm on Sunday after concerns of disorder
An increased police presence is expected in Stourport over the coming days after an incident at the Watery Lane caravan site on Sunday (December 28).
Officers were called to the site at around 12pm after concerns of disorder.
Enquires and searches were carried out throughout the day to establish the full circumstances.
West Mercia Police say initial enquires suggest the incident may be connected to a man who attended Kidderminster General Hospital with injuries which required treatment.
The force added that those involved are believed to be known to each other.
Increased patrols are being carried out in the area and officers are carrying out further house to house and CCTV enquiries.
