A disability advice service has found a new home in the city.

Disability Information Advice Line (DIAL) South Worcestershire has moved to office space within the newly-established Disability Hub at Friary Walk.

The move marks a significant step for DIAL as it continues to expand its support for disabled people and those with long-term health conditions across Worcestershire.

The new hub will not only serve as the charity’s base of operations but also act as a welcoming space where people can access vital information, advice and support services in an accessible central location.

“We’re incredibly proud to be part of the disability hub and to bring our services into the heart of the community,” said chief executive Elena Round, who is also a city councillor.

“This move gives us a fantastic opportunity to reach more people, collaborate with other organisations and to continue championing accessibility and inclusion across the county.”

She thanked the managing agents and management team at Friary Walk whose “support, understanding and commitment to inclusion” made the move possible.

“We couldn’t have done this without their help. Their partnership has been invaluable in creating a space that truly supports and reflects the needs of the disability community.”

The Disability Hub will soon welcome additional services, creating a one stop space for disability related support in the city centre.
