Ceremony to remember road victims to get underway in West Midlands
It's as the month is dedicated to shining a light on victims.
A remembrance ceremony is taking place in the West Midlands today to shine a light on victims of road collisions.
It's as the group behind the ceremony - RoadPeace - continuously call for safer roads in our region.
Lucy Harrison lost her brother in 2014 during a speeding hit and run in Birmingham.
She said: "It's totally realistic, totally achievable and totally possible for us to reach zero road deaths.
"We can then save thousand of families and individuals from heartache.
"We have to keep shining a light on this and the stories of those within RoadPeace to make a change and save lives that are needlessly taken."
During the ceremony, the names of victims in the West Midlands will be read out with photos displayed.
It starts at 2pm at the National Memorial Arboretum.
