Caravan destroyed by fire in Worcester

A crew from Worcester Fire Station was called out to Knightsbridge Park on Wainwright Road where flames had taken hold of the caravan

A caravan has been destroyed after a fire near an industrial park in Worcester.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called at 7:37pm last night to a caravan fire on Knightsbridge Park, Wainwright Road, Worcester. (October 6).

The fire service said a caravan was well alight and the fire was extinguished using two hosereel jets.

It was then checked for hot spots using a thermal imaging camera and tree foliage dampened down.

A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "There were no casualties and no other emergency services were required.

"The incident was marked as pending closure at 19:58."
