Assault in Hereford leaves man hospitalised after suffering stab wounds

58-year-old man arrested and released on bail

A man was found with stab wounds at an address on Whitecross Road in Hereford on Friday, 13th February, requiring hospital treatment for his injuries.

West Mercia Police received the call at around 8.14pm and upon arrival, arrested a 58-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

He has been released on bail as investigations continue.

Early enquiries suggest that the men involved are known to each other and that the event is considered an isolated occurrence.
