Witness appeal after man dies near Kingfisher Shopping Centre

Officers investigating an incident that happened near the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch on Saturday (20 September) are appealing for witnesses.

At around 5.25pm, emergency services were called to Car Park 2 on Silver Street following reports a man was found seriously injured.

The man, in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Detective Inspector Lisa Tibbits said: “First and foremost our thoughts are with the family of the man who has sadly died.

“To help with our enquiries into how the man suffered his injuries we are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident.

"We are not treating the death as suspicious.

“We would also like to speak to anyone who may have used the car park around 5pm to get in touch, or anyone who has any dashcam footage.
