Appeal for witnesses after 79-year-old man 'robbed' near Bromsgrove

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 79-year-old man was reportedly robbed near Bromsgrove.

West Mercia Police say the victim was approached by four unknown men on two electric bikes and one motorbike around 12.30pm on Monday (10 August) on Groveley Lane.

It's reported that the men pushed the victim to the ground and stole a gold necklace and gold bracelet he was wearing..

The suspects, who were all wearing black clothing and face coverings, then fled the area in the direction of Longbridge / Rednal.

The victim did not sustain any serious injuries in the incident.

Police are now appealing for anyone who may have seen the suspects to come forward.
