47-year-old man arrested after teenage girl allegedly sexually assaulted in Leominster
Investigating officers would like to hear from witnesses
A 47-year-old man has been arrested after reports a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in Leominster.
West Mercia Police say it was reported that at around 4:15pm a 17-year-old girl was approached by a man while she was sat on a bench next to Aldi on Westbury street.
The force added that the man sat at next to her then put his arm around her, ran his arm down her back and touched her breast and thigh before she ran from the area.
A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a female and is currently on bail while the investigation continues.
Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and from anyone who may have driven past and have dashcam footage.
