Man in 20s dies after workplace incident
A man sadly died near Berkeley yesterday (January 30)

Emergency services were called to a report that a man had been injured in a workplace incident beside the B4066 near Berkeley shortly before midday yesterday, (Thursday 30 January).
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the man in his 20s was sadly declared dead at the scene.
His next of kin and the coroner have been informed.
A statement from The Great Western Air Ambulance Charity said: “Our crew were tasked to an incident in Berkely at 11:29 on 30.1.25. They responded by helicopter with a Critical Care Doctor and Specialist Paramedic on board. Our crew assisted the patient at the scene. GWAAC sends its thoughts and best wishes to everyone involved."
The death is not being treated as suspicious by police and the incident has been handed over to the Health and Safety Executive to investigate.
