Woman threatened by unknown man in Gloucester alleyway
Police are requesting footage to help identify the suspect
On Monday, 3rd August, a woman was approached and threatened by an unknown man while walking in an alleyway in Coney Hill, Gloucester.
The incident occurred between Forsythe Way and Willow Avenue at around 2pm.
As she ran to escape, the man threatened to kill her before she managed to hide.
Police say the suspect walked away towards Coney Hill Road after searching for her. Though physically unharmed, the woman was left extremely distressed by the encounter.
The suspect is described as being of mixed race, slim build, and in his mid to late thirties. At the time, he was wearing a cream hat, cream three-quarter length shorts, a long-sleeved black jacket, and carrying a grey jerry can.
Police have conducted house-to-house and CCTV inquiries but are now appealing for further information from the public, particularly any CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage that could aid in identifying the suspect.
