Police are appealing for witnesses after a man racially abused another man in Gloucester.

The incident happened on the Painswick Road roundabout towards Coney Hill at around 4pm on 23 December.

The driver of a van was stationery at a roundabout when another man on an e-bike without any lights, approached the van and rode very close it.

The van driver spoke to the e-bike rider, who then racially abused him and threatened him before riding away away in the direction of Eastern Avenue.

The rider of the e-bike was described as being black, aged in his late teens or early twenties and with afro hair.

He was wearing a black jacket, black jogging bottoms and a black scarf.

Officers are keen to speak to anybody who may have witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it, who has not already spoken to police.
