A man who was wanted by Gloucestershire Police in connection with a failure to appear at court has been jailed.

Police had issued an appeal to find 50-year-old Mark Warren for failing to appear at Gloucester Crown Court earlier this year, as well as in connection with a report of a theft.

A number of people had called in with information following the appeal, and Warren was arrested on Sunday 28 September in the West Mercia area.

He was charged and remanded for 15 offences for West Mercia Police before being produced at Gloucester Crown Court on Friday 3 October in connection with the Gloucestershire offences.

Warren was sentenced to three years in prison for the Gloucestershire offences and will return to court on 28 October to be sentenced for the West Mercia offences.

Police would like to thank the public and media for sharing the previously issued wanted appeal.
