Two teenage boys have appeared in court charged with the murder of a man in Cheltenham on Tuesday (December 16).
The two boys, aged 15 and 17, who cannot be named due to their age, appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates Court today (December 19) and have been remanded into youth detention ahead of their next court appearance at Bristol Crown Court on Monday (December 22).
It follows an incident on Tuesday in the St Pauls area of the town where a man in his 40s died after a suspected stabbing.
The boys have also been charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article.
Another man, who was arrested at the same time as the teenagers, has been released, with no further action being taken against him.
Three other people from Cheltenham were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They have been bailed and are expected to return at a later date.
