The family of Rudis Rafael Lara de Los Santos, who died in a crash on the A417 earlier this month, have paid tribute to the 46-year-old.

Emergency services responded to the A417 Birdlip bypass at 9.40am on 1st February following reports of a crash between a car transporter and a Honda Civic.

De Los Santos from Gloucester was driving the Honda Civic and sustained serious injuries, leading to his death at the scene.

His family expressed their sorrow and praised him as a devoted husband and father.

"With deep sorrow, we say goodbye to Rudis Rafael Lara de Los Santos, a man whose life was defined by love, responsibility and dedication to his family.

"Rudis was a devoted husband, a loving father and a generous person. He worked hard to provide stability and care for his family, and his greatest pride was his children, whom he loved unconditionally.

"His passing leaves an immense void in our hearts, but also a legacy of love and strength that will live on in all who knew him.

"Rest in peace. You will always be in our hearts," his family said.
