Police in Tewkesbury are investigating reports of teenagers riding motorbikes and off-road bikes in ways that endanger the public.

According to reports, these young riders are travelling without helmets and weaving through paths, alleyways, and playing fields.

Sergeant Dave Kania from the Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “Behaviour of this type is known to impact many people and poses a risk to both the riders and members of the public."

Residents are particularly concerned about young children being knocked over by these riders.

Areas targeted by riders

The main areas of concern include Churchdown by the Community Centre, Guan Road and Peregrine Road in Brockworth, and Vineyard and Swillgate towards Priors Park.

Many youths reportedly have their faces covered to conceal their identities.

Police appeal for information

The Tewkesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team is actively conducting patrols to prevent further incidents.

They are urging members of the public to report any sightings of these riders and, if possible, provide photographic or video evidence.
