A witness appeal continues following what Gloucestershire Police are describing as a suspected road rage incident in Hardwicke.

Officers say the incident happened at around 5pm on Wednesday 30 July on Green Lane near to the junction with Sticky Lane.

A witness reported a fight taking place between three drivers, and a member of the public then stopped to intervene and separate those involved.

It is understood that at one point one of the men picked up a wooden stick or pole.

A third man, aged 49, was voluntarily interviewed by police.

One of the men attended hospital and reported that he had a concussion.
