Police appeal after man assaults three people in Cheltenham
One of the victims required hospital treatment
Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information after three men were allegedly assaulted in Cheltenham.
We're told that one of the victims required hospital treatment following the incident which took place on the High Street earlier this month.
It was reported that three men had been involved in an altercation with three other males on the High Street at the junction with Regent Street.
At around 3.45am on Sunday 13 July, one of the men punched all three of the males in the other group in the head, causing bruising to their faces.
He then picked up one of the males, aged in his late teens, and threw him to the ground causing him to hit his head on the pavement.
The victim, who lost consciousness during the attack, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for assessment.
He sustained minor injuries to his neck, leg and knee and was later discharged from hospital.
The suspect is described as being white, aged in his early 20s, around 6ft 3ins in height and of a broad build.
He had a buzzcut hairstyle and was wearing a white T-shirt.
Following the attack, the suspect walked off in the direction of Pittville Street and the Lower High Street.
Officers have conducted a number of enquiries since the incident, including a review of CCTV in the area, and are now asking anyone who may have seen what happened to come forward.
Anyone who may have dashcam or mobile phone footage that may be relevant is also asked to get in touch.
