Police appeal after 'glassing' at pub in Cirencester
We were called with a report that a fight had broken out between a number of people at the Golden Farm Inn on Upper Churnside last week
Police are seeking witnesses to a violent incident involving a fight and an assault at the Golden Farm Inn in Cirencester.
The altercation occurred on Upper Churnside at around 8.30 pm on Wednesday, 1st July.
According to reports, the incident resulted in one man being knocked unconscious, while another man sustained cuts after being hit over the head with a glass.
A 30-year-old woman from Cirencester was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
She has since been released on conditional bail as investigations continue.
Officers have reviewed CCTV footage from the night and are asking anyone who was in the area and may have mobile phone footage or who witnessed the incident to come forward.
It is believed that several people were present at the scene and their testimonies could aid the investigation.
