Police appeal after equestrian equipment stolen in Cotswolds burglary

Police say those responsible are thought to have used a wheelbarrow to carry the items away from the property

Gloucestershire Police are appealing for witnesses after equestrian equipment was stolen during a burglary in the Cotswolds over the weekend.

It was reported that unknown offenders had forced entry to a property on Oddington Road in Stow-on-the-Wold before stealing saddles, bridles and other equestrian equipment.

Police say this is believed to have taken place between 6.30pm on Friday (17 October) and 9am on Saturday (18 October).

The stolen equipment is worth several thousand pounds and those responsible are thought to have used a wheelbarrow to carry the items away from the property.

Investigating officers are now asking anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area to get in contact.

In particular they would like to hear from anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage covering the A436, Oddington Road.
