Police appeal after dog bites man in Cheltenham

Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information after a dog bit a man in Cheltenham.
We're told it happened on Greatfield Lane in Up Hatherley at around 7.30pm on Monday 7 April, when a man with two German Shepherds on rope leads approached from the opposite direction.
In a statement, police said: "We're appealing for information after a dog bit a man in Cheltenham last month.
"It was reported that the victim, who is in his late teens, was walking along Greatfield Lane in Up Hatherley at around 7.30pm on Monday 7 April, when a man with two German Shepherds on rope leads approached from the opposite direction.
"As the victim walked past them, one of the dogs lunged at him and bit him on the leg causing puncture wounds to his skin.
"Following a number of enquiries, officers are now appealing for the owner of the dog to come forward. They're also keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have any information.
"The dog's owner is described as white, middle-aged, around 5ft 8ins in height and of a medium build with grey-brown hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing an orange jacket.
"Information can be provided to us online by completing the following form and quoting incident number 65 of 8 April."
