Police are appealing for information and witnesses following an incident in Brockworth last month.

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police said: "Officers were called to Court Road at around 2.50pm on Thursday 11 September following reports of a man with a knife outside a café.

"Following an altercation with another male, the man is then reported to have run up the road in the direction of Brockworth Community Centre.

"He was described as being white, aged in his early 20s, dressed in a black tracksuit with white writing on and was carrying a bum bag.

"Officers attended and searched the area however the male was not located at that time.

"A man in his 20s was subsequently located on Tuesday 16 September and arrested on suspicion of threats with a bladed article, possession of a bladed article and threats to kill."

Police say he has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Officers would like to hear from anyone in the area at the time of the incident and who may have witnessed the man on Court Road.

They are also asking anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist the investigation to come forward.
