Police are looking to identify two men who intervened during an attempted assault on a teenage girl traveling on a bus from Winchcombe to Cheltenham.
The incident took place on Friday 27th March on the W bus service.
At 12.07pm, a 17-year-old girl boarded the bus in Winchcombe and was approached by a man who made inappropriate comments about her appearance.
The Gloucestershire force reported that he attempted to touch her leg, prompting another passenger to step in and tell the man to stop, after which the suspect sat back down.
Upon reaching Cheltenham, the girl disembarked near Primark on High Street.
The suspect once again attempted to touch her, this time on her bottom, and was again warned off by a different man on the bus.
The suspect followed the girl off the bus until she met someone she knew further along the High Street, at which point he walked away.
Police are eager to speak with the two men, as they may hold information valuable to the investigation.
There have been no arrests yet, and enquiries are ongoing.
