Police appeal after man reportedly assaulted by group in Gloucester

Officers say the incident left him with facial injuries

Gloucestershire Constabulary is seeking witnesses after a man was reportedly attacked in an alleyway in Gloucester last month.

The assault took place between midnight and 2am on Sunday 12th July in the passage connecting Great Western Road and Claremont Road.

Three unidentified males, wearing face coverings and dark clothing, approached the victim in the alley and began to punch and kick him, leaving him with facial injuries.

Following the assault, the suspects fled the scene on bicycles.

Authorities have been unable to identify the individuals despite conducting enquiries, and they are now asking for public assistance.

Individuals with any information about the attack are requested to report it online by completing the form and quoting occurrence number 53260059912 at the following link.

Information can also be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers, either online or by calling 0800 555 111, with the possibility of receiving a reward of up to ÂŁ1,000 for information that leads to a successful prosecution.
