Man pushed off mobility scooter in Gloucester assault

Two people have been arrested and bailed following a report that a man was pushed off his mobility scooter.

The incident involved an assault by a man and a woman on another man riding a mobility scooter.

Officers were called to a report of an assault on Eastgate Street, Gloucester at around 7.20pm on Wednesday 22 January.

It is believed an argument had taken place between the three before the man and woman had walked away.

The man on the mobility scooter had called police and was following them when an altercation take place and the victim was pushed off his vehicle.

A 52-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman, both from Gloucester, were arrested on suspicion of assault. They have since been released on police bail.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the circumstances leading up to the incident or the incident itself.
