Man due at Gloucester Crown Court after being charged in connection with a high value scam

A man from London is due to appear at Gloucester Crown Court on Thursday after being charged in connection with a high value courier fraud scam.

37 year-old Foysol Ahmed from Islington in London, is alleged to have imitated a police officer in order to convince a woman into buying gold bullions to the value of over £1 million pounds.

The charge relates to fraudulent activity which took place between 31 October 2025 and 28 April 2026.
