Man pronounced dead at scene after serious collision near Mickleton
Police appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage following fatal crash on Bakers Hill
A 36-year-old man has died following a serious road collision near Mickleton this morning (Saturday, 5 September).
Emergency services were called to Bakers Hill, the road between Mickleton and Hidcote, at around 7.30am after reports of a single-vehicle crash.
A Ford C-Max had reportedly left the carriageway before striking a tree. The driver, a man from the Stratford area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers.
Bakers Hill remains closed while police collision investigators continue to examine the scene and establish the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have captured relevant footage on a dashcam, to come forward.
