Man to appear in court in connection with offences including assault by beating

A man - who currently is from HMP Thameside in London - is due to appear in court later this week in Gloucestershire.

The charge is in connection with multiple offences - including two counts of assault by beating.

In a statement, Gloucestershire Police confirmed: "A man is due to appear at court after being charged with multiple offences.

"Sayed Mowsi, aged 26 and of HMP Thameside in London, has been charged with two counts of assault by beating, assault by beating of an emergency worker, possession of a class B drug and attempted criminal damage.

"He is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 30 July.

"The charges relate to incidents which took place on All Saints Road, Barton Street and Park Road in Gloucester on Tuesday 28 January 2025."
