Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Mickleton

A man in his 20s has suffered suspected stab wounds in an incident in Mickleton.

Gloucestershire Police were called to a property there at around 4.20pm on Saturday (17th May).

The victim was taken to University Hospital, Coventry for treatment - but has since been discharged.

His car, a Vauxhall Astra, was also stolen following the assault, and hasn't been located by police as yet.

A 40 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, and released on bail while enquiries continue.

There's now an appeal for witnesses, or anyone with information about the incident, to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, or use the force website, quoting reference number 320 of 17th May.
