An investigation into an incident in the Maugersbury area three days ago is continuing
A man has been arrested following a suspected shooting near Stow-on-the-Wold.
Gloucestershire Police were alerted when a man arrived at a hospital with injuries to his lower leg, believed to be caused by a firearm, on Thursday 15th October 2026.
The injuries were not considered life-threatening and the man has since been discharged from the hospital.
Authorities have arrested a man in connection with the incident, and he remains in police custody as investigations continue.
As part of their investigation, police increased their presence in Maugersbury near Stow-on-the-Wold, though scenes set up at the site have now been lifted.
