Police in Kingswood, South Gloucestershire, are investigating reports of two separate incidents of inappropriate touching involving a woman and a teenage girl.

The incidents took place on Monday 19th January, where each victim reported being touched over their clothing.

The first incident occurred at 8.10am in Woodland Terrace when a woman was approached by a young man who touched her bottom before immediately fleeing the scene.

The suspect in both cases is described as being in his mid or late teens, white, with medium-length black hair and wispy black facial hair.

He was reportedly wearing dark-coloured trousers and a black coat, possibly featuring an orange marking on the front.

Shortly after, a teenage girl reported a similar incident on Hanham Road, involving an individual matching the same description.

Neighbourhood Inspector Barny Mabbett said:

"Neither victim suffered any physical harm but we know that what happened has left them shaken.

"We're keeping them both updated as our investigation progresses.

"We've been following up a number of positive lines of enquiry as we work to identify the person responsible.

"Thankfully there have been no further incidents reported, but we're keen to hear from anyone who may have any information which could help.

"Rest assured we do take incidents like these seriously, and neighbourhood officers have been carrying out extra patrols in the area, both in uniform and in plain clothes."

Anyone with relevant information, dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage is urged to contact the police on 101, quoting reference number 5226016361.
