Police launch witness appeal after woman found with head injury in Cheltenham
The woman is in a stable but serious condition in hospital.

Police have launched a witness appeal after a woman was found in Cheltenham with a head injury in the early hours of this morning.
At five past twelve, officers were called out to Montpellier Walk after a report of a woman with a head injury had been found close to Rotunda Terrace.
She was taken to hospital for treatment where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
A 64-year-old Cheltenham man has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident. He remains in police custody for questioning.
Police would like any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact them quoting incident 3 of July 4th.
