Police launch witness appeal after man assaulted by two women in Cheltenham
Police would like witnesses to come forward.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted by two women in Cheltenham on Sunday 20th July.
At around 6.25am, officers were called a report that two women had attacked a man on The Promenade.
The man, aged in his 30s, suffered a head injury and was treated at the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
One of the women was described as white, large build with long black hair and glasses. The other woman was described as being black, also of a large build with curly black hair.
Despite attending the incident within eight minutes of being called, officers were not able to catch the offenders or find any witnesses.
Police have carried out CCTV enquiries in the area and are appealing for any witnesses to contact them, quoting incident 104 of 20th July.
