Man arrested following break-in at shop in Cheltenham

Police are looking for a second man who fled the scene.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after officers were called to an alarm going off at a shop in Cheltenham town centre in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called to the suspected break-in at a shop on Promenade at around 3.30am. It is thought three laptops were stolen.

The 45-year-old man from Cheltenham remains in police custody - a second man fled the scene.

Police have described as being white and of a slim build. He was wearing a grey hooded top with dark trousers and black trainers. He had a black snood covering his face and was also carrying a white tote bag.
