Gloucestershire train services disrupted after lorry strikes bridge
Services expected to face delays until 9 am following accident
Train services across Gloucestershire have been disrupted this morning (23rd December) after a lorry collided with a railway bridge.
The accident occurred between Kemble and Stroud, forcing the closure of the train line in both directions.
Passengers travelling between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa, via Gloucester, faced cancellations, delays or diversions while the incident was managed.
According to Great Western Railway (GWR), disruption was expected to last until at least 9AM.
