Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information after a man threatened another man with knives in Wotton-under-Edge.
Officers have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
It was reported that a man, claiming to be selling carving knives, had entered a shop in the town centre just before 1pm.
When the shop was empty, he grabbed the owner and pulled him into a room at the back of the premises before showing him a bag full of knives.
The man then threatened the victim with knives from the bag; insisting that he buy some of them with cash.
The victim was forced to show the man his bank account to prove that he did not have the money to buy them. The man then left the shop.
Although the victim was not injured during the incident, he feared for his safety and was traumatised by what happened.
