Gloucestershire Police appeal for information after dog-walker followed near Stow-on-the-Wold

Anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity is encouraged to call the police.

Police are investigating after reports that a man followed a woman near Stow-on-the-Wold whilst she was walking her dog.

Investigators say that the man was acting suspiciously last Sunday (13th April) at around 10.50am in Broadwell.

The man, described as being aged between 35 and 40, approached a woman and began to take photos of her on his phone when she tried to pass him.

He then followed the woman and she ran, and she was able to get away from him. She then saw him hiding behind a hedge.

Around 5ft10 tall, he had been wearing all black clothing at the time, including black trainers and a black puffer type jacket.

Gloucestershire Police has confirmed that neighbourhood teams are conducting extra patrols in the area to reassure the public.
