Philip Anderson, a 49-year-old music teacher from Dursley, Gloucestershire, has denied multiple charges of sexual assault.

He stands accused of six counts of sexually assaulting girls under the age of 13.

The alleged offences occurred over a span of four years at two local schools.

Anderson was employed as a private music teacher at these institutions.

Beyond the charges involving minors, Anderson has also pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexually assaulting a female aged over 16.

This accusation involves a girl he privately tutored at his home studio.

During his brief appearance at Gloucestershire Magistrates' Court, Anderson confirmed his personal details and entered his pleas.

The Magistrates have transferred the case to Gloucester Crown Court.

A plea and case management hearing is set for 5th May.

Anderson has been released on conditional bail pending his next court appearance.
