Road closures in place following collision in Gloucester

Closures are in currently in place on the B4073 Painswick Road from the Eastern Avenue roundabout and on Barton Street up to the Massey Road junction

Road closures are in place in the centre of Gloucester following a collision in the early hours of this morning.

Police received reports of a collision involving two vehicles on Marlborough Road at around 12.30am.

Three people were taken to hospital to be treated for suspected minor injuries.

Closures are in currently in place on the B4073 Painswick Road from the Eastern Avenue roundabout and on Barton Street up to the Massey Road junction.

The roads closures are likely to remain in place for a number of hours to allow collision investigators to work at the scene and motorists are being asked to find alternative routes.
