Firefighters tackle blaze at property in Gloucester city centre

Fire crews are tackling a blaze at a property in Gloucester city centre.

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to a fire at the rear of a property on Worcester Street at around 12:37pm this afternoon (29th April) and number of roads in the area have been closed for "safety reasons."

A spokesperson said: "Five fire engines are currently at the scene.

"These have attended from Gloucester North, Gloucester South, Cheltenham East, Cheltenham West, and Stroud."
