Emergency Services at scene of serious collision on A38 in Gloucester

Emergency Services are at the scene of a serious collision on the A38 in Gloucester.

Police were called at around 2.55pm to a report of a collision involving a motorbike and a car on Eastern Avenue outside Lidl.

A full road closure is in place from Metz Way to Cole Avenue while those involved in the incident are assessed by paramedics.

Police say this is likely to remain in place for some time and people are being asked to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
