Driver urged to come forward after woman in her 70s hit by car in Longlevens car park
Police seek information following Gloucester collision
Police in Gloucester are seeking the driver of a red Volkswagen Golf involved in a collision with a woman in her 70s in the Longlevens area.
According to the South West Ambulance Service, the incident occurred in the Co-Op store car park on Cheltenham Road between 9.35am and 9.50am on Thursday, 19th March.
As the driver reversed out of a parking space, the vehicle struck the elderly woman.
The driver, along with another unidentified man, assisted the woman to a nearby bench before leaving the scene.
She was later examined by an ambulance crew and taken to hospital for treatment for a head injury.
Officers are keen to speak to the Volkswagen driver to understand the circumstances of the collision.
